Food Themed Christmas Tree Ornament Guide

As I shared in my geeky ornament guide last month, my Christmas tree is filled with ornaments that fit one of two themes: geeky (obviously), and food.

Unfortunately, most of the EXACT food ornaments that I own have already sold out, as I began buying them in October – and whilst a lot of people rolled their eyes and shook their heads at me, they ended up selling out weeks ago, so I’m glad I got in quickly! πŸ™Œ

However, there’s still some fun ones available, plus this will give you an idea at which stores sell these kind of fun, quirky ornaments so you can keep that in mind for the future! As soon as it hits the “ber” months, I check their websites DAILY to see if their ornaments have hit the shelves πŸ™Š Let me know what food item you’d *love* to have hanging on your tree!

I also am hoping that sharing these ornament guides of mine will help open up people’s minds to the idea of adding a little more unique-ness to their tree decorations.

Whilst I love gorgeous, elegant, tradition Christmas baubles as well, but I think it’s wonderful to be able to look at your tree and see your own personality and passions reflected back at you!

I also like the idea of getting an ornament that reflects the year that has just passed, too. For example: I bought a few Star Wars ornaments too, as 2020 was the year that I really fell head-over-heels for all things Star Wars.

Also, during lockdown, Daniel and I treated ourselves to take away once a week – on the weekend, after he had a really early class and was too exhausted to make dinner – and we fell in love with this kebab place, so we bought a kebab ornament too.

Until next time,
Indya xx

    • I think so too 😍 I didn’t realise that people change their tree theme each year, but that’s a pretty cool idea! Now that I have so many ornaments, that just might be what I have to do as well! Unless we move to a bigger place where I can have more than one tree πŸ˜…

  1. I must say these tree ornaments are a rare idea! I always come across designs directly related to the holiday season. These are great for a change.

    • I can’t believe I don’t actually own a watermelon ornament yet, considering how much I LOVE watermelon! I do have a pretzel one though ☺️ We’ve got a lot of gorgeous baubles, but they didn’t on the tree this year with all the extra unique food and geeky ornaments I found this year πŸ˜…

    • Yes, I LOVE Friends! I swear I know each episode by heart! This year I bought two Friends ornaments: the iconic orange couch from Central Perk, and the yellow frame from Monica’s apartment β˜ΊοΈπŸ’•

  2. These are cute! I know that there are some people that have made their mark on TikTok opening mystery toys including the Mini Brands, that are now making their duplicates into magnets, earrings, ornaments, etc. If the Mini Brands contain your favourite foods, that may be another way to get something fun (and support a small business).

    • Oh my goodness, my poor wallet! I almost wish you didn’t tell me about these things because I CONSTANTLY make my own earrings AND magnets out of tiny toys too! I just looked up these things and they sell them in Australia too (usually we miss out on a lot of cute stuff like this) and I am *totally* going to buy a couple to see what I can get πŸ™Š Thank you for the tip!!!
