In case you’ve missed my Instagram Stories and end of the month re-cap posts, I have bought a lot of new Christmas ornaments this year 🙊 Most of them have been super fun, geeky ones that I am just so in love that I KNEW I had to share a post on where to find the best ones!
The majority of our tree ornaments that we already own are food-themed – especially sweets, as we all know I’ve got quite a sweet tooth – so let me know if you’d like me to share a guide on where to find some food ornaments for your tree as well 😋
I’ve also got some cool DIY ornaments that will be featured on the blog too that are inspired by some of my favourite movies and TV shows, so keep an eye out for them too 🙌 Now, head down to the guide to check out where to find these awesome geeky ornaments for your tree! 👇
And just like that, it’s Sailor Venus’ birthday again! I can’t believe it’s already been a year since I made my gummy candy necklace as an homage to her iconic attack Venus Love-Me Chain.
This year, I decided to recreate one of her famous itemsas an edible treat: her compact! Well, more accurately, Minako’s compact, which enables her to transform into Sailor Venus ☺️
Even though I’ve really jumped on the jello** train this year, I tried my best to make something that WASN’T jello-related for this recipe and, even though I had a seizureliterally the morning of making these meringues, I still managed to get them done and I am super happy about that! 🙌
(Although I wanted to get these posted YESTERDAY, as that was the 22nd for us over here in Australia – and that is her actual birthday – but my laptop decided to stop working! So I had to buy a new one, and here we are 😅)
Well, it may have cost me my sanity, the feeling in my feet, and a LOT of ingredients, but a new recipe for character jelly cups is finally here! After I decided to share last month’s jelly cups in different places than usual – such as a variety of Facebook groups – they ended up getting a lot of attention, which I talked about in my September review post.
I honestly thought no one but me really cared about these creations, but despite that fact, I still wanted to keep making them. No matter how long they take to plan, test, create, photograph, edit and write. No matter how much ingredients they use.
I still love making these, and I was going to keep making them even if no one cared – but last month I got so many amazing comments and feedback from people, and it really helped ignite a flame within my heart. It made me realise that there are people out there who WILL like what I create, I’ve just got to find those people!
I’ve been wanting to create Rick and Morty jelly cups for a while, as it’s one of mine and Daniel’s favourite shows – and considering I seem to average on creating one Rick and Morty-themed recipe post per year, I was running out of time, but I made it! Hope you enjoy ☺️
